Can't wait till the Fed arrives. How many of you cut the brim to the dimmensions for a Raiders hat outlined on Indygear Fedora page(front/back 2 3/4 sides 2 5/8).

Unless they changed something, an Akubra Fed comes already cut dimensionally. The main site says something otherwise, but it has not been updated in a while.

I'll measure it when it comes. I hope you're right. Tha would save some serious time.

I just received my Fed and it indeed comes already dimensionally cut!! I have been in Florida all week since I got mine so its not even bashed yet either. Let us know how yours comes out!

Mine should be here next week. Good luck with the bash. From what I've read on here, use the steam conservitively. I think it was Fedora who said he uses cold water. Someone jump in here if I'm wrong.

I just measured it for you. The brim is 2-3/4 in the front and back and 2-5/8 on the sides. So you don't need to worry about cutting it.
