Post by midwestwhips »

Hey everybody!

Chris Camp was on Chanel 4 in st. louis today doing spots over a 2 hour period. He did a great job, and it was a great show.

Check out the website here:

There's pictures and I believe video, and he even promoted the whip-nic that's coming up, so good on' him!

Great clip! Nice whip work.
I would have liked the view to be about 45° to the left though but that's just me.

Thanks herr Jones!
Thanks Paul.

It was o ne of those last minute things. They actually called me yesterday. I had to leave the house at 3:45 am to be there at 5:45.

I had a really great time. Virginia Kerr was really lively.

And no Herr Jones... It's not just you.(lol)

All the best!

Hey Michaelson.
thanks very much.
I went to watch the clip and can't view it. don't have the correct plug-in.
I'll try to watch it at my folks.

If it's the one where I cut the target out off his head, you'll notice I had to go for it twice. I did the one from the mouth and as I went for the one on top, I noticed that Virginia (the anchor woman) was standing really close. Too close. You'll see me move over a bit to give her clearance.
Paul (the man holding the tagets) is the St. Louis helicopter traphic reporter. He was really great and funny. He literally ran down from the station, did the trick, then ran back to the station which was two blocks away from where we were.

Take care.
Chris

Aw, you're just not using the right technique. Try MINE next time. You don't try and knock the target out of the person's mouth....you knock the person away from the target! It enlarges your target area, and gets REAL quick and interesting results! 8-[  (don't try that at home, kids. Your Mom WON'T like it!) 8) Regards! Michaelson

Canasta, I didn't want to bring up you having to do a double-take on the second target because I don't hold any records worth mentioning but since you pointed it out . . . noticed it. I tried to watch it again to see you move over but it was asking me to register.

Hey Chris,

Nice job. I just watched the clip and I just had to laugh.
Its great making those hot shot reporters sweat a bit...
(I can say that, I used to work for them...!!!)

Its great to see the sport is still getting some positive coverage every so often!

hey Chris!

nice job.
I actually did that same act for a talent show at school.
I was told it was the most dangerous thing anybody has ever
done for the schools talent show. They seemed to like it quite
a bit, but what got them more was when i placed a soda bottle
on top of a desk, wraped it with a side arm crack, pulled it
back and caught it with the cap off.
Regards!
