"Batman" Police Officer Fedora?

I was just watching the first Batman film (the first one Tim Burton did) with Jack Nicholson as the Joker. At the beginning, a police officer played by William Hootkins (who becomes bad later) is wearing a very familiar hat. Now I am aware of the fact that not ALL fedoras are "Indy" fedoras, but take a look for your self.
Does anyone have a pic of this guy in the hat?
He's at the beginning of the film.
BTW - he was one of the government officials in Raiders -

Nice pics. That hat seems to be familiar ... (although the crown might be a little low

I know this is a stretch, but do you think that the hat MAY be a 'homage' to Raiders? I mean William Hootkins was the guy in Raiders too....I don't know, maybe it's just coincidence that THAT fedora looks familiar...
