I just ordered 4 hats from Fedora: 3 brown and 1 grey. I'm hoping that I'll never have to order another hat for as long as I live!

Are you crazy?! After you buy that many hats from him, you'll only want to buy more in incraments of four! The buying never stops, it just gets worse!

4 HATS?? WOW, amazing! I really aim to see pics. A day maybe i will buy a grey hat too... a day. I think a LC style grey hat Right now i just wait my raven bar fedora.

I anticipate never having to buy anymore hats for the rest of my life. In addition to the 1st hat from Steve, I also have 2 HJs that I have yet to wear as well as the Akubra which may go to Goodwill. So I will have a total of 6 brown hats and 2 grey ones (the other grey hat if from Miller hats). If my calculations are correct, and I wear each hat for 5 years, then I have enough hats for the next 30 years. By that time I'll be really old and decrepit and will probably look like a mummy!

Congrats on the hats. Don't forget to post picture of all the hats!

Hey, IJ1936, don't Goodwill your Akubra. Rather, hang on to it long enough until a needing soul who comes along needs a fedora and pass it along as a gift. 'Tis a noble gesture, I think.

ij1936, I have a total of 6 fedora's myself 2 Adventurebilts (brown) 1 Herbert johnson (brown) 3 Petersbrothers ( 2 brown / 1 grey). Or should I said 1 brown Petersbrothers because they have Highjacked one of my hats for four months now. Can you tell I'm a little bitter about it. I also have one more of my older hats still around but, I belive it's either my old Stetson or Dorfman. It shrunk so much my son is playing with it ( fit him well).

Whoops!!! you forgot to get a black one. Your collection won't be complete without one. Better get back on the phone and make a call to fedora. There are some things that just call for a black fedora and nothing else will do.

jpenman, what do you mean they have hijacked a brown hat? Did you send it in for a block or something and they lost it or just haven't gotten to it? If so, that's not typical of their business practices and I'd just calling Joe Sr.

I sent them one of my Petersbrothers hat to them for a reblock over four months ago and still nothing. You and I had this same chat a couple of months ago ( I'm still waiting). I have sent them e-mail ( some were resounded to). I have called them a couple of times. A couple of weeks they said they would be sending it out to me on the wesnday the 8 th of June and still nothing. I called them friday afternoon and asked them just to send it back to me ( I don't even want the reblock done any more ). They told me to call back the next day to talk to there shipping person ( sounds like BS to me). :evil: :evil:

Just got off the phone with Petersbrothers and they said it would be going out in the mail monday morning. I will believe it when I see it. Sorry ij1936 didn't mean to take over here but wanted to answer texasgirl post.
