That looks very smooth and neat. I'm gonna have to learn how to do that on my IOAB.
Any more shots of the whole whip?

Swindi,
I didn't think to take a camera with me. Duh. I scanned those four images on the scanner here at work. I will tell about my trip out to his home in another post soon. I am going to see if I can't bribe him into showing me how to do that. Being able to replace new falls like that would be a big plus.

Swindi,
I misread your reply. I thought you asked if I had any more pics of the trip, not of the whip. If you scroll down to my first post, entitiled "first post", there are pictures of two of my whips. Both had the new falls put on, but the short one is being returned to the maker today. The turks head came off in my hand the other day, after very little time working with it. It started to unbraid from the large end. Pretty lousy work from someone claiming to make heirloom whips. But thats okay, because I am having a matched pair of bull whips made by Adam Winrich. An 18ft and a 9ft. Did I read somewhere that you own a Winrich whip too? Would like to hear what you have to say about it. Best regards, Jay.

Whammer;
I'm so sorry, I even got a PM from you back then.
Of course I remember your whips now.
I apologize for forgetting.
My keyboard is almost worn out from all the good stuff I have to say about the IOAB I have, and Adam himself. Any specific questions about it? Otherwise I'd go ahead and check the archives, there is plenty and very good info about his work there.
Oh, and I managed to do the fall hitch myself the way he told me to, just 5 minutes ago. Better go field test it soon enough...

*Bump*
Well. Field tested it. Works like a charm, and I got more people keen on this whip cracking thing! I'm gonna need more cards from Adam to hand out soon.
