Im thinking of trying to get my hands on one of the many jackets actually done for the films.
Is there any for sale somewhere and what should the pricetag say?

Try Harrison Ford. He should have one or two in a closet back at his place... Noel Howard has a screen-used one as well, and the remaining ones should be found over at the LFL archives...
Seriously, of the 48 jackets made for the films, quite a few were destroyed in the process. The now existing screen-used ones, should they be offered over at Sotheby's or similar, would probably go for a gazillion jillion dollars...

Yea, Harrison seem to have alot of the original props and costumes from various rolls and films he has starred in...
Hmm...do you have the number for his agent?

Well if you have a few thousand spare, go for it. Or you could just get your own one, for £145+ postage.

Fred,
IF you are serious, and there was an authentic Indy jacket for auction somewhere, I'm guessing prices would start at least in the $20,000 range then go up, up, up.
I don't ever recall one coming up for auction in the 10 years I've been on-line. If it would, proces would be very, very high.

ouch!
thats alot of money, then is clearly cheaper to stick to a WESTED.
But some day...who knows....

This is one of many times I can honestly say
"If it was easy, everybody would do it!"
