Wish it didn't have that ergonomic grip thingly in front of the wood grips though.

Might be able to remove hat, though. I see a seam line there.

Usually those are detachable grip adapters. I agree with RC, I think those can be removed, as it looks all standard Smith in design to me. Regards! Michaelson

It's a K-frame , though. Too small.

Click "Pistols" then "Tanaka Works" and scroll down to the S&W 29 4 inch (part #TW-PS-M29MHW4)--
They also have a perfect copy of the Browning Hi-Power--

I think their Police Special looks pretty good too, without the rear site and better shaped grips;

Precisely, my man. For that dropped-out-of-a-Duesenberg kind of sidearm.

-So, what kind of sidearm would you like to take a look at, sir?
-Well...

Thanks VP, I couldn't get that link to work.
Swindy, that police special has the physical look, but it is a k-frame as well, too small.

Yeah, I've learned that, sadly. Why can't they make them to look JUST like Indy's and save us a lot of trouble?

Yeah, the k frame is just too small. Indy's revolver was a large frame. (N frame) The k frame is a medium frame. In fact it is the slightly smaller and lighter of S&W's medium frames. The L frame is also a medium frame, but its a little 'beefier'.

I have the feeling that the guys who make those Airsoft guns are making a big mistake. If only they would make one of all the "Indy" guns, including the Webley MkVI, their profits would nearly double! But they'd need to make an airsoft Bazooka, just for good measure!

The bazooka does exist!
They produce also a tank LOL
Anyway we should try to contact some producer, if COW pushed Herbert Johnson to start the production of the old style poet as they used to do (i don't know if they really started it but anyway they get interested in it for sure) we might move some japanese company to replicate the indygun!
