Here's a pic of a couple of Cowhide Indy bullwhips:

And here's another shot of the same whips along with a Morgan:

Both WSP Cowhide Indy's are 8 footers. Hope you like them :D ,

They certainly look nice, Bernardo. There's no doubt that they're patterned after a Morgan.

Bernardodc,
Thanks for posting this! I've been hoping someone would get one of these and post better pics. How do they compare to your Morgan quality/perfomance wise? I've had my eye on this whip ever since it became available. I've been wanting to get away from 'roohide for a long time and I really like the look of these.

Yes, please post your thoughs on the performance. They look good, though I'd like to see more plaits. I saw they had 12 plait but it had a long handle. (but was cheaper with more plaits!?)

Shawnkara,

I went to the park this afternoon to try them out, and they handle very well. They are on the heavy side, but also have a heavy handle, just like a Morgan bullwhip, so they are well balanced, which means that you don't really feel all the weight out there.

I put both whips on a digital scale and they weight almost exactly the same as my latest Morgan. My first Morgan is a little bit lighter, though.

IndyDoc,

The reason why the WSP 12 plait cowhide is cheaper than the 8 plait, is because they are completely different whips, made by different whipmakers. Construction, style and action are different. The 12 plait has a longer, lighter handle (australian style).

Glad you liked them, :D

For figuring that out, you've won a braided key lanyard :D

Sen me a PM with your address.

Thanks for the kind words.

Next time Adam :D

When I launch my website I'm going to give a whip for free. To win, you'll have to figure out what's unique or different about it.

The cowhide I use is made under my specs by a local tannery, right here in Arequipa, Peru. I pick only the best hides for my whips.

Regards,

Bernardo
