There were some really bad storms that went through Mississippi last night, and I was wondering if he's ok? Anyone? :( Regards. Michaelson

Okay, I tried calling Steve and no one answered the phone. I don't know what this means, if anything, but I'll try back later unless someone else hears from him.

Alright, I'm talking with Steve now and he's okay. They've got storms around, and may see some big ones today, but if a tornado comes his way, they've got an underground storm shelter to keep safe in. He says it's tornado season there, so it comes with the territory. Unfortunately, his shop ISN'T underground, so pray no tornadoes come through looking for hats!

Be careful, Michaelson! Keep your head down. My best to you and to Fedora. I hope you get through this storm with no problems.

I'm not worried. I've got my AB with me today. Now THAT'S how we define 'natural distressing' here in the South! Hundering down during tornado season!   Regards. Michaelson

Wow guys, that was some tension reading there, are those storms and nature disasters so often down there, as they look like from here :?:

Yes, unfortunately, they are. They call our area 'tornado alley' for good reason. :( Regards. Michaelson

Another ot question sry, but i´m interested, do you all have a security place in your house? like a bunker or something, does people die frequently due to that?

Some do actually have storm shelters. Most folks go to inner hallways or bathrooms and get down inside their bathtubs. Yes, a lot of folks dies due to these storms. Not as many as there use to be, due to the better storm warnings we get, but still, folks get killed in just about every big storm that goes through. Regards. Michaelson

Makes me glad I live in the mountains.

But then again flash flooding is as common here as tornados are where you live Michaelson. :(

We're not going anywhere. We'll be muddy, but we'll be around. Heck, we couldn't get rid of Fedora the LAST time a twister his HIS town, and he got hit over the head with his overhead garage door!!!

Looks like we just got the rain this round...had between 2 and 4 inches fall around our county, but the really rough stuff passed just south of us, so we're ok.

Your concern is much appreciated. We're just entering our storm season down here, but we're good at hunkering down.

Regards. Michaelson
