Since my childhood I have been searching for an Indy fedora. I wasted money on all sorts of dodgy stuff while on holidays in Spain and Egypt when I was little. I eventually gave up until being spurred back into life and back on the hunt a month ago (I’m now 27). I didn't do much looking around as I came across the official Indiana Jones hat endorsed by Lucasfilm. Thinking this would be a perfect Indy Fedora I snapped it up. Ordered a Furfelt version of the lid from a US hat site and had it shipped to the UK. Cost me $135 to get it to the UK and then another $50 in import duties. How disappointed was I when I got it. The design (bash I think it is referred to) looks completely wrong, and the top rather than having an indent from front to back, is fairly wide open with a dome type finish. It is also as stiff as a board. I really felt despondent....until I found COW!

Wow, you guys are great and so knowledgeable about Indy Equipment, and of course I learnt of Fedora's marvellous Adventurebilt. I am now saving up to order one. Having seen Hemingway-Jones's Raiders hat on here (Streets of Cairo design), I know I want that design.

A huge thanks to you guys for restoring my faith in the search for the perfect Indy Fedora and well done to Fedora for offering what looks like an excellent product.

You made a good choice - thanks to the research and dedicated work of people here such a Steve Fedora there are now many many options to chose from when looking for an Indiana Jones hat - I have yet to see an Adventurebilet in person but all the photographs looks superb and it surely must be the fastest selling hat at the moment.

Steve puts so much affection into his work I am sure you cant not be pleased.

The Adventurebilt is just stunning. You won't regret it. I am still amazed at how "right" it looks.

Welcome, Richard! Hope you stick around a while! You really have made a good choice with the Adventurebilt. Fedora has a 99.999% satisfaction rate so far, and for good reason! You'll have to show us pics when you get it!

Steve is an incredible craftsman and has learned more about making fedora's in the past few years then most learn in a life time.

Nice hat there Pagey. If mine looks that good I will be a very happy man! Good idea on the value. Importing to the UK is a killer. I have to import car parts all the time and not only do you pay 17.5% tax you also have to pay about $25 in handling fees on the thing that don't get through as "Prototypes" .

If you want a Dr. Henry Jones Jr. hat that looks like the the hat Henry Jones Jr. wears You found the right place.

Ps. Pagey, when I do get my AB, I'm not gonna ask for the Streets of Cairo hat, like I was going to originally, I'm gonna ask for a Pagey hat. I LOVE the way yours looks!

I recieved my Adventurebilt last Wednesday and it is without a doubt worth every penny. I got mine modeled on the Raven Bar look and it is amazing. Fedora does an incredible job and my thanks and compliments go out to him. Shop smart, shop Adventurebilt.

Alas no. But within the next 12 months or so this will most likely be my full name. I never liked my official surname and Croft seems a pretty cool alternative. Unfortunatley Jones didn't seem to go with Richard.

Thanks for the continued welcomes. I'm saving hard for my AB! Gonna eBay my dodgy offical Fedora to swell the fund. Doubt I will get back anything close to what I spent on it.

I myself have not seen an Adventurebilt in person, but from the pictures that I have seen, I can honestly say that its the most screen accurate fedora out there.
