Post by Indiana Wayne »

I was wondering if anyone has a US wings fedora and how good is it? And does it look like the Indiana Jones fedora?

Thanks! :D

Thanks again molorom. I just looked at the AB fedora and they look great! I just wish I could afford one. :( I also heard that the federation hat is a good one and it is fifty dollars? Is this true?

Thanks! :D

The Akubra Federation is a good choice, although the last time I checked, the price for the regular hat was about $70. (Someone correct me if my info is off. Why would I look for other hats? My Fed demands loyalty!)

The Akubra Federation Regular is 78.2816 bucks. Plus shipping.

Here's mine:

I'm a huge fan of The Akubra Federation and The Federation Deluxe. They're great fedora's for the price.

From my own experience, I would avoid the new Stetsons because they taper too fast. Get an Akubra for the same amount or save up for the Adventurebilt.

I think I might get one, but I am going to check my local Antique store first since they have almost everything and they might even have a 1930s 1940s or 1950s fedora.

Thanks!

Once you get a vintage fedora... we can give you a short list of people who can clean and reblock it for you.

Art Fawcett at Vintage Silhouettes has the "Bogart Block 'N Bash" down cold and can take your fedora apart and put it back together with the same liner and thread them back together to make it look like it just came from the original manufacturer.

Our buddy Steve can do the same thing with the “Jones Block ‘N Bash…” both are artists in their own right with different styles. Depends on what you’re looking for.
