Looking for A demolished, dead, ruined MKVII

I’m not going to explain exactly what I’m doing, other than I’ve been trying to make a sewing pattern of the mark 7 and its very difficult! Does anyone have a Demolished almost completely useless mk 7? I only need it for a sewing pattern, so it doesn’t matter if it has holes in it, exe. I just need one with all the seams still together. Whoever volunteers would eventually be helping out the entire community with this, since if I can get a good sewing pattern made, I’ve got something special planned....
I will gladly pay the Shipping cost.

Thanks a lot

I need to make one that fully replicates the
original in all dimensions. Lets just say I need something more in depth than your run of the mill pattern. Ive even been throwing around the idea of making a Auto cad drawing for it. How about just saving me some trouble and scanning it in then?
Thanks a lot

What I have is a scale drawing of what I figure the peices are... 1cm=2 inches...
Don't you mean 1 inch = 2.54 cm. ? :?

well,

I guess i could just cut as i go along,
but thats abit more risky, and would take much longer.
Some areas have more folded over material than others.

extensively.

I dont think your thinking about it enough. Either that, or
im making it too complicated. Yes, deffinatly. Well, since im changing
the inner pockets i guess none of this matters.
Thanks for the help, guess i need to think for abit before i act. Look foward to a prototype bag in a few months. IT will be diffrent from
all others currently sold. And i mean it seriously. 8)

Adam, You might wanna check out http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/reenactors/index.htm
Search for product code : BE880
It's the mark VI and VII gas mask bag with a black stripe in front BUT it's only 5 pound or about $9.50. The black stripe won't matter if it's to be sacrificed for the pattern.
btw. I'm very interested in the project, I was going to make a bag my self but right now all my time is spend renovating my home.
Good luck

How about that dirty bag? Is it in bad condition or is it just dirty? Well the dirt comes of, right? It should look dirty anyway...I need to know the kondition of it if anyone knows?

Try e-bay. I see several that are in pretty bad condition every week, and most sell fairly cheap. Hope this helps.

Sometimes you get lucky. Mine wasn't smelly, or cruddy, or messed up. Worn in, but obviously cared for. Stiff from storage, and a bit of a dusty smell, but that's it. Washed it and it looks the same, so it was clean. I guess it's hit or miss.

Dirt is one thing, one not so important thing, but is it possible they would send a bag full of holes and realy torn apart? Perhaps it's one of those questions no one knows. Might be 50% chance it is full of holes.
