Ok i just read a post about an "80's fit" and ran a search on it, sorry if this is in the search but i didnt feel up to the challange of searching thru 300 plus topics to find it. What exactly is thi 80s fit, so called. I think i remember about it being tighter, more the style like Raiders was. Any intel would be greatly appreciated. I will be ordering a wested in the future with some special mods so i can use it on a motorcycle*, and want a tight fitting jacket. Would the 80s deal fit the bill? Thanx in advance!

Yeah, that's basically it. It's supposedly a bit more form-fitting and to some this is more screen accurate. I find Wested Indys to be pretty form-fitted anyway, if you order right. It's probably the same as ordering one size down from normal with extra length in the arms. Peter used to have a photo of Chris King's Indy mannequin on Wested's site wearing the "80's" fit model.

I always go for the 80s fit - it is exactly what has been said, more snug, form-fitting fit.

Speaking of the 80's (or late 70's actually), does anyone remember the TV show TAXI? It was only the funniest show on TV, but anyways, the character of Bobby Wheeler (Jeff Conway) wore a leather jacket more like what you can [barely] see in my avatar. I have been wondering if it was maybe the same jacket as Sinatra's from Von Ryan's Express, which is where I got my avatar. Anyone know? Also, "Bobby's" jacket was beautifully distressed.
