I'm tryihg to figure out how best to hang my fedoras. I don't want to store them away, but want them on display and in a place that I can grab one when I'm heading out. I saw this on ebay:
Admin Edit: Ebay link removed.
and was wondering what you guys think.
If not this, any ideas?

It will serve its purpose, but I'm not sure I like the look of it. When I hang my gear up, I usually want to hang it on something Indy might have hung his on. So, personally, I go for something like a wooden coat rack, and hang my hat and jacket on that. Of course, I'm not the one who is going to be buying it, so this isn't about me. I'm just saying I don't think that hat rack is particularly stylish. :junior: -IJ

I used to use coffee cans. I decorated the exposed part with Indy-themed stuff; Egyptian gift wrap and such. Also Hobby Lobby sells these Roman-esque short "pillars". They're plain white plaster, come in many sizes and styles and can be had from $20.00 to $60.00 depending on what you want.

I like the way the maker of that hat rack thinks, but that way of keeping fedora's might actually cause hats to taper faster, pushing the base of the crown out while letting gravity pull the top of the crown down.

Then how about just a regular hat/coat rack and keeping the hats on the pegs?

Thanks Dakota. That is my G and L Legacy. I had the humbucker put in at the factory. I just bought a Heritage(the old Gibson company) Les Paul clone, one made in 89 a few days ago. Black. Ebony fretboard, real mother of pearl inlays, not pearloid. Heritage puts matching wood pickguards on their guitars too, which is a nice touch. I am anxiously waiting for it to get here, from a seller on ebay, so I can plug it in.
Sorry for the hijack. Fedora
