Life size Indiana Jones statue

Hi there!

I just wanted to share some pictures of my finished life size Indiana Jones statue. I am very happy with the result as I have been working hard to get it finished. The bust itself was sculpted by Howard S.
It´s been alot of fun with the research and detailing.
I have some more tiny details that I need to change.
I did some photoshop as you can see. :rolleyes

In the holster, there´s a Webley pistol casted in resin. And in his jacket, I have put a pair of old glasses, identical to ones he uses.

Enough said, over to the pictures. (I will post more pictures soon on the glasses and on the pistol later on this day.)

That looks amazing - all I will say is you might want to sort out the bag strap and buckle as its not attached right. Otherwise looking spectacular!!

It does seriously look great! Of what material is it made of?

Thanks everyone!

Yes I need to change the strap on the bag, as well as other small details which you can´t see on the picture.

The bust is made of resin, and I also put a pair of real prosthetic glass eyes inside the head.

The bag is also facing backwards. The metal disc should be towards the back.

Otherwise -

Very impressive. If any of the other Mods are reading this, I am starting to think that we need some kind of Mannequin/Bust board here at COW. I mean - there seems to be an obsession for some with not only getting the gear in your home, but Harrison Ford as well....

IndyHunter81, you are an incredibly gifted individual. :D

Your Indy statue is both lifelike and accurate. And those eyes! The colour and accurateness is stunning.

BTW, welcome to Club Obi Wan! :P

Hey -

I saw this over on the RPF and was amazed then - still am.

It has the potential to be one of the best lifesize Indy's I have ever seen.

As has been mentioned, the strap is incorrect. The shirt collar and jacket collar need to ve shaped a little, they look a bit too 'disco' at the moment. If you introduce a curl to the collars they will look much more authentic. Additionally, the hat needs to be shaped a little better. It looks a bit stiff and new - a little bit more swoop on that brim (and maybe some fullers earth on there?) would look better, IMO.

As it is, it looks amazing - please take my comments constructively, as they are intended. :)

With those small tweaks, I think this would look incredible!

Well done!

Regards

Al

Looks great! Almost like a CGI rendering or a video game capture. Spooky.

Hi Björn!

A beautiful statue indeed! Even Swedes are crazy enough to go all the way it seems. ;)

So... Wested shirt and jacket. What's the rest of the gear? And are you planning on selling the whole shebang? :-k I'd love to hear more about how you did it. Amazing!

I just might have to "hunt" you down in H-borg to get a look at it before it goes away. 8)

Cheers!

Just amazing! I think you should make that first closeup your avatar. Did you do the paint job?

What hat are you using? Is that an HJ? It looks so pliable and soft. Kind of hard to determine from the shots just whether or not it is the 'real thing'--'movie-wise', that is. Thanks. W>

I like that he looks ticked-off. (Lowered eyebrows and knit brow) To me, it looks like he's filming Raiders, and has just noticed in a mirror that his hat has tapered... NO, he looks even angrier than that. The other sculpture I have seen doesn't express any particular emotion. This one looks like he's getting ready to whip into action. VERY well done!
