Wested TOD Dark Brown goat
Hi everyone. I'm the new guy and this is my first post. First off, I'd like to say that this forum is great and it has really helped me in getting my gear. Second, I recieved my TOD jacket several weeks ago and I really love it. Problem is...it gets little white spots on it whenever the jacket is snagged on something. Has anyone else run into this problem?

That does sound odd.
I know that there sometimes can be some chalk residue left from the tailoring that you can easily rub off, and that the distressed parts on my auth. goat are lighter and more grey than they are on lamb jackets.
Have you tried any Pecard's or such on it yet to see if it helps?
Regards,
Swindiana

Best way to go would be to ask Peter, Gerry or Jerry about it I think...
Or hope for someone else with a DB goat to chime in.
(I know distressing projects have been going on on DB goats, and maybe some of those guys will recognize this "problem"?)
Good luck, I'm as curious about this as you are.
Regards,
Swindiana

Hey all...I tried to take pictures of the spots but my camera isn't that great. I've come to the conclusion that westwd jackets are actually made of pleather and what I'm seeing is the plastic underneath! It's probably just a scratch...no big deal. I aint gonna sweat it. Thanks for the advice and all the salutations...you guys are a freindly bunch.
