Hi Richie,

here is the website where you can purchase his videos directly,
using the online catalogue on that page.

its http://www.delongis.com/MTB.html

Also,
if you monitor ebay , you can sometimes find his videos on there from
time to time.

All the best.

thanks Jim, I has try this way to get it.
The business at Point Man Productions seems to be down, so I get no answer from this company and the online catalog is out of order.
The tapes at ebay are all in secam TV-norm, but I need the european norm PAL or a DVD.

Be advised --

The people aforementioned who are in charge of selling Mastering the Bullwhip 1 and 2 have nearly 80 bucks of my money and I am still sans tapes. This situation has lingered for over 6 months. They emailed that the tapes were on backorder and were shipping within the week several months ago. Still nothing.

May I suggest as an alternative, Whip Cracking with the Masters, Anthony's other bullwhip tape sold by the Australian Stock Saddle Company/Colin Dangaard. Very nice and efficient people to do business with. The video is excellent, BTW.

Not trying to "down" anyone, but just to relate my personal experience trying to purchase the same item. If you order Mastering the Bullwhip and actually receive it, please let me know.

That's a sad story about waiting 6 months. When I talked to Ron Balicki he seemed like a nice guy and very conscious of providing a service to Anthony. These tapes are quite nice, although the audio does stink - you need to turn up the volume a lot.

The take away tips I got from the series were:
- less is more, no reason to violently crack a whip
the challenge for me was to crack the sound barrier with as little effort as possible. That requires good skill and a good whip.
- the railroad tracks!
finally a good teaching technique to avoid getting smacked. Anthony does a great job explaining how to avoid getting smacked
- martial arts moves with the whip
- keeping the whip in frame (for movie work)
- and just plain style and technique.
Anthony does a great job of showing how to walk with a whip, in a martial arts type of way

I learned a lot from these tapes. It really refined my approach to whip cracking and really got me confident in developing that 6th sense of knowing where the end of whip was, constantly. I have seen professional and semi-pro whip performers copy his style. However, he is controversial. You either like him or not. My vote is thumbs up. But they are expensive set of tapes.

Another source would be eBay. I see his tapes pop up on eBay regularly.

Just my .02...

thanks All,
unfortunaly I have pushed the pay button before I read the messages. Now I'm in hope to get the tapes in this season :(

Sergei,
all what you tell about the tapes is what I'm looking for - my cracking style goe's more and more slow and smooth. This seems to be the right stuff to bring me forward.

cheers
Richie

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know i ordered the Anthony Delongis Videos from the same vendor and had to wait a couple of months too. They arrived eventually, poor quality but very instructional.
