Hey,
I haven't posted for a while, and I haven't seen prices on the 405's until recently, and my oh my Aldens have gone up higher than I'd ever imagine over the past four years! I bought mine brand new four years ago for $175, whats this $100 price jump $280 ( I know it's happened gradually roughly $25 a year increase).
Other than the fact that I've had a re-heel and a partial re-sole, the tops have held up very well. I hope to get another six years out of these babies.
These shoes will never be found on the bargain rack ). If you can buy a pair now, keep them in the box for another four years, you could make double on your investment. Wow, a shoe that goes up in value!
Well, got to go
