First Wested Lamb Authentic Arrives ... and its PERFECT!

Post by Alabama Jones »

This is what I got:

INDY JACKET:
Height: 6\'0\"
Chest: 42\"
Sleeve: 24.50\"
Jacket_Size: 42 Reg.
Jacket style: Raiders Jacket
Leather: Authentic Brown - Lambskin
Lining / Zip: Cotton Body-Satin Sleeves (rec)
Side Fastener: Antique Brass D Rings
Jacket Quantity: 1

Requests:
1. Tapered sleeves
2. X box stitching on side fastner
3. Two piece gussett
4. 1980\'s style slim fit
5. Full length zipper

I was soooo nervous about ordering this sight unseen, especially about the color and sizing, (sleeves especially). I flipflopped daily on the color down to the last minute before ordering and even after. The "authenic" brown always looked a bit too light to me compared with the onscreen pics. I was leaning towards the dark brown. After pouring over these forums, I decided to go with the authentic on a wing and a prayer... and boy am I glad I did. Pictures on the computer screen do NOT do it justice. Its a deep, rich brown, not "too light" as I had feared.

The fit is perfect. I took a chance and ordered size below my actual chest measuremnent (44). I chose ... wisely. :D My dad helped me with the sleeves, and they're just right, coming down to the first knuckle of my thumb. I can't believe how this thing fits, and I know its just going to get better with wear.

And it arrived in less than month! I couldn't be more pleased. In fact, I'm "giddy as a schoolboy." :D

Thanks Mom and Dad!

Heh, I guess I got carried away.

I felt the same way when I was researching the boards before my own order. I was like ... "You got it? C'mon, man show us pics!"
Don't have a digital camera, but hopefully I can find a way to post pics soon.

If I may quote Jimmy Fallon's Leatherman on SNL: "Walk for the leather!"
