I just need to say that I dont have a great knowledge of whips but I got a Eight strand whip from Mark Allen and figured that it would be a good practice whip. After I got it and started playing around I figured I wanted a good Indy whip so I ordered the JS one in brown. I have slowly been getting the feel of the MA one so when the JS came in the mail today I figured I had to give it a go. The first thing I noticed after I got it unwrapped from my head is that it is alot faster. Once I figured it out I cant believe how much louder and eisier it is to crack. I guess I just wanted to brag for a second. In case anyone is looking to get one I think the JS is great however it is the only good one I have ever tried so take it with a grain of salt.

Gilly, congrats on your new acquisition. I couldn't agree with you more. This being only your 2nd whip you did well. The Joe Strain whips are extremely well made whips. I have five Joe Strain's, and I wish I had more. Beautfully balanced, weighted, tight but not too tight and durable. If you can post, please post your pictures.
