Just curious as to what you guys consider to be "the" gunbelt as far as accuracy is concerned.
Cheers,

We're talking about the Raiders belt, right? In that case, Noel Howard's gunbelt should be #1 - after all, MBA Costumes did make the belt for the film.
The MBA belt is no longer available, but there are several very good substitutes on the market - strangely, they are all connected to COW board members...

Here's a comparison pic:
All the above depicted gunbelts seem quite excellent, so, IMO, it's all a matter of personal preference.
When it comes to the belts from ToD and LC, the sources are quite scarce. Noel Howard offered them as well, but I haven't heard of anyone around here who actually owns an MBA ToD or LC...
I bought my "ToD/LC" from beltoutlet.com, and as far as accuracy is concerned, I'm perfectly satisfied with it:

You're good SJ, you're very good...
Nice comparisons there. The others all look good, but all of them need tweaks in differents places I think.
I'll head over to the belt outlet for the ToD one, for now.

Excellent! This satisfies my thread as well. I'll go delete it right now, if I can.
And which belts do you guys use? What seems to be the most popular?

I'm partial to the Texas Jones, Texas Action Gear gunbelt. I've only owned his belt, but I love the overall look to it. More of a dark brown, than an orange color that alot of Indys leather apparel seems to be.
I don't know if the "orangy" color is true to the films, but I prefer a darker belt. Same thing goes with his bag strap and whip holder.
Also, the buckle and keeper on TJs belts look awesome. I actually use it as a regular belt,(when it's not being used as a gunbelt) since it goes great with the Indy jacket.
Texas Jones customer service is also top notch. I ordered a complete set of his wares, and they arrived 2 days later. Don't know if it was just luck to get it that quick, but as another great film character stated:

SJ,
That comparison shot is great! That is worthy of the main site. I've never seen all of them compared side-by-side.
I agree with Blues about the "look" of Texas Jones' belt. The buckle has a nice weathered look to it and the leather is very dark brown.

Has anyone wanted to take up the challenge of stiching the belt together rather than using snaps or screws?
Here's the one I made and I was only willing to go so far.
Just wondering,
Pyro.

If I have the supplies/parts for the belt, I can do it no sweat.

Still, there are so many great belts on the market that it might not be worth the time and effort to find all the parts...
