An IndyGear Christmas

My family celebrated Christmas early with the in-laws, and I scored some nice additions to the gear collection - a Cabela's safari shirt, an LLBean Field shirt, and a pair of LLBean chinos in dark khaki (still no taupe.) Granted, a Wested shirt and pant set would have been the ultimate, but I'm not one for looking gift horses in the mouth...
It was nice to be able to compare the LLBean and Cabelas shirts - being 65% polyester, the Cabelas is a stiffer, more wrinkle free looking shirt, so it didn't score high in authenticity, but for the price, ease of care and to acheive the basic look, you can't really complain. Being 100% cotton, the LLBean had that wrinkled cotton look that definitey works for getting the whole worn in look, although the color is a bit dark - it works better as a ToD/LC look - too dark for Raiders. The only other goof was that Cabelas sent the shirt in the color olive instead of stone, but it was a good looking shirt anyways, so I'll keep it and maybe order a stone color in the future just authenticity...
