Hello,

Just wanted to show you guys some photos of the two 4ft. Indy Style Whips Paul Stenhouse just created for me.

They are beautiful, nice and balanced and have a great, screen accurate look to them. I need the small ones as I sometimes practice and perform indoors. They are very accurate and crack with very little effort. I can't wait for the weather to get a little nicer this week and really give them a workout!

Here are the photos:

David

P.S. These whips were bought to replace some WSP 4 footers I bought about 4 year ago. They are listed for sale in the Classifieds section.

Hi David,

Great looking whips! I thought those came out nicely, and enjoyed my few minutes I spent with them in the backyard.

Are your WSP's that are for sale made by Bernie W? Just curious is all, because of the pictures.

Best Regards,

Paul Stenhouse

Paul,

Thanks again for the great work on those whips!

As for the WSP whips, I am not certain who made those. I bought them about 4 years ago, and at the time I didn't inquire as to who had actually made them. I didn't know as much about whips at the time otherwise I would have asked.

Does it look like Bernie's work?

Sincerely...

It is my understanding that the maker during that time was Paul Nolan. Paul didn't you meet up with him not too long ago?

Hi Sergei,

How's life going along?

I did meet up with him last year at Thanksgiving visiting relatives. What made me think that those whips were Bernie's was the handle and the knots on it. It looked to me like your whip from Bernie, that I saw a few years back when you were in Seattle and Kyle, you and I went out to dinner. To be honest, I don't have a clue as to who made those. They do look nice.

Best Regards,

Paul Stenhouse

David,

You got yourself an excellent pair of whips there!!! Use them in good health. :-)

Paul Stenhouse,

those whips look great, I even saved the pictures, good job! As to who made the lil indys that david is selling, I would put all my money on that they are Bernie's. They look exactly like the 12 plait lil indy that I had of bernies about 4 years ago. How are you doing by the way, did you come into st. louis this year for thanksgiving too? I had a great time last year!

Sergei,

Hey, hows it going? Yep 4 years ago was about the time when I started making the lil's for WSP. I'm sure they still had a good stock of Bernie's lil's then.

Hi Paul,

How are you doing? I've given your name out to a few people who live somewhat near you, to try and hook up with and learn some whipcracking. I was impressed with your ability to do two handed routines. Very cool!

I stayed home this year, as the crew from Springfield came out here.

Those whips end in an 8-plait point, since I don't like dropping to 6 with anything shorter than five feet. It makes too many drops, and keeps the weight up all the way through the tip.

How are you doing?

Best Regards,

Paul Stenhouse

Hey Paul,

no worries, I can't wait to hear from them. I'm always up for cracking, and I'm working on getting a group together here in St. Louis. So far there is a huge interest. Hopefully I can get a place and time set up that is good for everyone.

Yeah I was going to email you to see if you were coming, but thanksgiving came so fast. This whole year has gone by soooooooooo fast. It's been such a busy one, I'm a little scared that next years gonna be even busier.

I agree about the dropping to 8 on the short ones. I like the less amount of drops. Again, I have to say, David's pair look beautiful. Great work!!!

I'm doing pretty good, just busy. I was already a bit behind, and then i came down with the flu for about 2 weeks, so now I'm even further behind. I'm hoping to get caught up by jan 1st, but I guess we'll see what happens.

how are you doing?

Regards,

Paul Nolan
