I don't know if my website designer is up to the challenge, as I don't hear from him much. I am offering him a hat for the work done so far. Is there anyone here who is skilled enough to complete it? If not, I will get someone locally to finish it up. Thanks guys. Fedora

I could provide some graphics, but I'm not so good at the coding.

That is the homepage. I want an info page with prices, and a contact, links page with a link to other sites and paypal. I can supply you with the info but you would have to do the design etc. Skipbeau is doing the hosting. Thanks Fedora

Just one quick critique while it's still under development: That text is pretty small and might be hard for some to read. But the design is cool and it's well written...

Fedora, I really like the wording on that page.

That page is extremely well written and presented.

The site is looking great so far Fedora. I would help, but I'm afraid, the last website I created was when the internet just started up. I used good ol' notepad to create a multimedia website. Now they have programs with nuclear names to take away the fun of Notepad.

I would help you for free if I could, sir, but I've fallen behind. But then again...nothing like a cause to stretch the brain. Okay, I'll take a peek, but let's assume that my more-than-fulltime job will preclude me getting anywhere - jump at any other offer anyone makes, and if I get around to it before any of them do, I'll let you know.

I may be of help. I've been working on various simple web page projects for other people for a while. I know basic flash (quite basic) and I'm pretty good with layout.

EDIT: I'll get to work on a prototype page today.

I got a navigation bar done real quick but I can't really make other pages until I get info from Fedora.

Aaron from The Indy Experience. His site is awesome and he did a great job with my site www.treasureofthetemplars.com. He gets my vote.

Thanks Ken! Is he a member here as well? If so, what name does he use. Looks like he does great work. Fedora

And thanks again Ken. Oh, I have your block size in. :D I have emailed Cooler and perhaps he will help me out. Of course, I have not heard back from the original designer, but things are about to be ready for making hats, and I am starting to panic. Fedora

Nothing wrong with a good dose of panic, provided it's channeled in the right direction. Hang in there buddy...you're doing fine!!! High regards. Michaelson

Yes, Fedora, don't spaz out until AFTER you've made my hat! We all have confidence in you, Steve. You'll be fine. We're not just your customers, we're also your support group!

Fedora, I’m not sure if you are open to critiques at this time, but I agree that the text should be a bit larger, especially the name of your site. If it’s to be Adventurebilt Hats, then it should be much larger and spill out into the black background to stand out just as the nifty looking email link (I assume). The title also should be proportionally larger than the bottom heavy email graphic. I would make one last suggestion; there should really be a margin for the text block since it’s hugging far to close to the margin. All of these should be simple tweaks to an otherwise fine looking site. :)

Also, are you aware of which web publishing software was, or is being used to design your site? Adobe Creative Suite???

Heck, Rixter you didn't have to add the disclaimer. I do that all the time here! 8-[ Regards. Michaelson

As if you didn't have enough on your mind...here's an idea to make your handbuilt hats even cooler:

How about numbering each one?

Or including a certificate like Wested does. You know, something like:

"This hat is number___ and was hand made by Steve Delk exclusively for Joe Doaks."

Or maybe you could just write the number inside the hat somewhere.

Whaddya think?

Fedora needs the help guys. I've had the domain registered and hosted for a few months. Now that the hurricanes are past and he's ready to go, he needs a presence to make it easier to order.

Fedora, ... "choose, but choose wisely"  I know a lot of us are very talented. Whoever gets the job, PM me and I'll get you set up with an account and upload info.

Skip is the man!!! He has been on the ball. I am waiting to hear from Cooler King, since I pmed him about this when Ken told me about him. If he does not want it, I need someone. It would be better if it was someone with experience who could crank it out fast. I will give CK a couple of days, and then if I don't hear from him, I will ask someone else who offered here. Thanks, guys for the offers. I really appreciate it. Fedora

You're not after anything remotely challenging; it's disappointing that these guys just couldn't grind it out for you. Rest assured, there are plenty of people who could knock it over fast, for nothing, if required.
