OK, I was shopping for ties when I came across this:
http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCatProd ... ent_Id=228
I almost fell over! Check out the bow, and it's Beaver. What on earth is going on here?
I thought it was interesting from the point of view that an almost "Indy-style" fedora is being offered at Brooks Brothers, which is a trend setter in the office crowd.

Fedoras are really getting to be the "in" thing now. Look at all of the hip hop artists that are starting to wear them.

It is a good looking hat.
The hip-hop guys prefer their fedora's in primary colors!

Fedora's are coming back into style... not Hip-Hop artists. Cause they're are more of us then there are of them.

Speaking of Fedora's, I can't wait for the Fortune & Glory to get into production, now that's style!

Me too.
By posting this, I'm not suggesting that anyone consider buying it. If anything it's a good measure of how economical Fedora's hats will be. $400 for this hat from Brooks Bros. vs. $225 for one from Fedora. Why would you go anywhere else?
I did post it to hearten my fellow IndyGear fans that wearing your lid is getting more and more acceptable. So, fear not, and make it an element of your personal style!

Just the other day, I spied the Brooks Brothers catalog and I began leisurely flipping through it and lo and behold I came across an ad for that same hat and a couple others. They had a rabbit fur hat for $268 and the beaver for $398. NO THANKS. I'm waitin' for a Fortune and Glory. I am glad to see that some people are rediscovering that a fedora is a classy way to go.
