Club Obi Wan

After we filmed a bit of our spy serial last night, my buddy's ex-girlfriend, a fire spinner, came to pick him up. That's weird right there. So, my buddy opens the door to throw his film gear in and she sees me and says to me, "Hey! You're that Indiana Jones guy!"

"I guess so.", I sez.

"I need to borrow your fedora this weekend.", she informs me.

"Uhhhhmm", I think, well maybe the old one...

"Do you have a bullwhip?"

"uhhh, ...yes?"

"I need to borrow that too." Again I think, 'maybe the old one'. "Can you crack it?", she asks excitedly. I can see why my buddy broke up with her years ago.

"Of course."

"REALLY?! Oh, excellent! You can teach me how to crack it in my firespinning video!" Then she went blathering on about her idea about the video which didn't make a lot of sense to me, mostly because I'd been standing in the cold for about 45 minutes, and still was, as she talked to me from the open door.

So, Now I have to teach some stranger how to crack whip on the weekend for a few hours and I have to 'act' ina video.

Does this ever happen to you guys? Or do I just lead a stange life?
