Heh, looks like I've been bad :)

I should have remembered to put that the idea was dangerous or some such. I guess I foolishly figured that since gasoline was mentioned, people would take proper precautions if they decided to carry it through.

Sorry about that, I sometimes forget that we all think on different levels, and that things like that won't necessarily occur to everyone. Just like it didn't occur to me to put some kind of warning in there.

Foolish?

No. not at all, but we do have new readers who take what is written here as being next to Biblical, and have literally destroyed items due to posts like yours because they thought all aspects of the suggestions had been tried and tested by the IndyGear staff and deemed safe. I did not want to receive an email from some irrate or desparate fan, stating that they had blown their dryer through the wall due to a supposed 'how-to' read in these pages using gasoline. I sent a hat out of my collection to an ex-fan due to a post like this because I personally felt enough hadn't been done to state caution in attempting a suggested process. They destroyed a family heirloom in the attempt. I won't do that again. I left the post for consideration, as well as all the warning posts, but locked it at that. Regards. Michaelson

Hey, we all make mistakes and errors in Judgement...

Look at my parents, they made the choice to have kids!

One of the reasons why I came down so hard is that with the Aunts and my bride who are in the medical profession who have shaired stories of people who thought Gas was a handy solvent for all sorts of fun and games. I also have a friend who was badly burned on the neck and hand because of a cracked fuel line.

Don't lose any sleep over this, I've said plenty of dumb things this morning alone...

Do I need to hand you another cup of coffee, or hit you with a bucket of cold water? Oh, to be criptic, your item is in a box by my elbow. Now to get it to a post office this morning....(grins) Regards. Michaelson

I prefer the wife to hit me with the bucket of cold water, then I make coffee for everyone after letting the dogs out. The news of the package makes the coffee obsolete.

Thanks a billion.
