I picked some up at The Cobbler's Bench, a shoe repair place at my local shopping mall. The only problem that I found ordering online is that most of the places that sell this have a high service charge or a minimum order of $10 or so. I didn't want to order $10 worth of stuff, I just wanted a $2 or $3 jar of shoe cream. And I didn't want to oder $10 worth of shoe cream. That would be a lifetime supply if it didn't dry up and go bad first.

The shop where I bought my Aldens is where I got my Meltonian pollish. However, I called around a couple of cobblers/shoe repair shops in the area and they also carried Meltonian. The only problem was that Brick is apparently not their most popular color in these parts, so no one had it in stock. The Red Mahogany I purchased in its stead was the closest match to the Brick, and I think it still turned out quite nice.

And Cliffhanger, my wedding anniversary is October 12, so good luck on your wedding day!

Mines October 14th. 20 years and still happily married, heck I sure hope so, she's one awsome lady. After all she does put up with my hobbys and all.

Hey Bink,

Maybe I got lucky. This place had two jars of brick in stock. Hope you're feeling better today.

Thanks, Bufflehead. It's definitely a cold which has taken residence inside me. The dry sore throat is gone, and now it's a matter of all the junk draining from my sinus and lungs. Oh happy. Oh joy. But I'm slowly on the track to getting better.

And IndianaCroft, congratulations on 20 years! ("My wife, the best woman I've known in twenty years." ) My parents just celebrated their 45th last week and my grandparents were married almost 70 years! Even though I've got a long way to go, I'm aiming for those marks.

In sickness and in health,

Thanks! Congrats to you and Croft! Ocotber must be the month.

And Croft, as mentioned, your local shoe repair/cobbler will have some. I got mine in the classifieds here at COW.

Peace,
Cliffhanger
