It's close, and it's a Hubertus, but it's not 'the' knife - look at the curve of the metal closest to the blade - Indy's knife doesn't have this feature. Plus the handle has a slight curve to it - again, not seen on the Raiders knife.

No, I'm absolutely certain this is the way to go if you want Indy's knife:

No problem I.S., I went through the same process myself in trying to identify 'the knife' before Adam (Molorom) pointed out the same sort of thing to me.

I will say that the Hubertus is a great field knife and general day-t-day penknife. Well made, stylish, classic design, and of course 100% Indy.

Recommended, and knifeshop.com are good to deal with to.

The only problem with pocket knives down here being, if you got caught with one, and Mr Plod didn't like the look of you, you'd get done for carrying a concealed weapon. Yes, I kid you not. The law is going stupid down here, not just with firearms but all "weapons". Even ceremonial swords that people hang on their walls - and which would probably break off at the handle, truth be told, if ever used in combat with anyone.

Rob that can't be true - I watched Crocodile Dundee the other day and he was carrying a HUGE knife around with him...

The only knife you can carry legally in the UK is described as...

A folding pocket knife with a blade 3 inches or less in length, non locking.

So Swiss Army knives are OK, but that one isn't, unless...

...you have a lawful excuse, like you need it for work, etc. EG: Army, Police ( ), gamekeeper, etc.

It's any pointed or bladed article you can be arrested in possession of in public. I know fellow officers who've arrest people in possession of safety pins before!

If Skippy owed Al 12 beers and Al thought he owed him one more, to make 13, but was mistaken. That takes the running total back to 12. Then Al offered to buy Skippy a pint to show how easy he was to corrupt and to keep Al from getting arrested. Doesn't this mean that Skippy now owes Al 11 beers instead of 12?

If you were camping or something, you're fine. It's just another tool for the job. The law applies more to your Urban Cowboy types who get off on the machismo of wearing a knife on their belt, seemingly for the horrors of the shopping mall, and the wild creatures that might leap out from behind the newsstand.

As a former knife collector, I just sold most to get the stuff you guys have, I'm going for the Hubertus. It is the knife of choice!

I have had 19 of these pass through my hands through reselling,
and i have to say that the stag formation varies greatly. The only
one that ive seen thats 100% spot on is the knife i own. I had posted
pictures a while ago, but the hoster died.

Exactly! I bought this one a few months ago, but directly from the company, which has a local shop with a bit lower prices as well. The don't usually ship, but I kindly asked to ship the knife (inside Germany) and they did with a "must-take" or "no-return unless defect" agreement. I am happy with it.
