Looks great!! Really nice choice.
If you have a pinky’s worth of room on the sides you should be fine. Just means your head is a longer oval than your hat. Give the reed time to mold to your head in the front and back.

Totally agree with Chose Poorly. Just wear it in and it will take your head shape and will settle after YOU use it daily.

That looks really great, I think you chose well. From the photos it looks like it sits right where it should on your head. That sweatband with the stones is a very nice touch, I love it.
