I wasn't wearing a hat at that time, so that making it more rare!
I had almost the same experience myself a couple of times. Appart from that there was this instance when I was wearing my Wested Rola Special and someone said:" you know, If that stormflap would have had snaps and the leather was cow, I'd swear it would look just like an Indiana Jones jacket" must have been an LC or a CS fan ;)

So the Dutch somehow do recognise the jacket. Now if only they would stop calling my AB a cowboy hat

I like the idea that they would look like normal, genuine, flight jackets

I was clocked by a colleague, about my age (mid 30s) in March/April last year, before KOTCS hit theatres, I was wearing my novapelle Wested KOTCS jacket. He jokingly made a comment along the lines of "Who have you come as Indiana Jones?"

I didn't know the crowd at that time and just laughed it of saying I'd let the Hat and Bullwhip at home.....

The rest of the time I use my MkVII and Jacket together and no one has ever noticed.

No, not to me. That's okay, because I know what I'm wearing. ;)

only one person ever noticed I was wearing my Indy jacket and it was a girl at work, everyone else thinks my wested looks like all my other A-2's. When I first got my wested I showed it to my best friend and he said isn't that same jacket you showed me at Christmas, I got a new A-2 last year,I see leather jackets all the time, and I look to see what type they are, but I have not seen an Indy jacket where I live and I also see alot of bad A-2's.

Ran into a guy last weekend that was wearing a Wested at a Cost-Plus Imports in my area, who turned out to be on this forum.... Ian, you around?

As for someone approaching me? No, not that I recall.

I'm getting harassed all the time by hordes of people asking about my jacket.

I'm only wearing it indoors now with the curtains closed.

;)
