There is still something about the shape of the bow that I dont really like...
By the way, are the stitches of the sweat vissible because it is sewn in at the brim break, or is it simply the ribon riding up in those pics?

It's just the ribbon riding up and was easily corrected by just pulling it downm a little. The bow looks a little better in person than in the photo; my photography skills leave a lot to be desired and I kept getting a shimmering effect with the closeups.gwyddion wrote:There is still something about the shape of the bow that I dont really like...

The stitches are showing because the stitches are right at the brim break and they don't tack down the ribbon in the right place. the ribbon on the Christy's is tacked down in the middle of the ribbon on the HJ/MAG/AB they are tacked down on the very bottom of the ribbon. The ribbon on the Christy I will never like. Post pics of both the bows and you will see the difference.

Yes, I agree there is definitely a difference, and the double bow is also higher on the Christys; it's about 1/4 of an inch above the ribbon on the Christys, whereas on the Magnoli it's about 1/16 of an inch.BendingOak wrote:The stitches are showing because the stitches are right at the brim break and they don't tack down the ribbon in the right place. the ribbon on the Christy's is tacked down in the middle of the ribbon on the HJ/MAG/AB they are tacked down on the very bottom of the ribbon. But again, at the price and considering the overall look, these things don't bother me at all. They would bother me if I was spending $300 for a close-to-exact Raiders replica.

Here is the Magnoli's bow:

Again, not very good quality, and there's some "rippling" distortion there, especially in the middle of the bow.
