My jacket is fantastic.
I sent an email to Wested thanking them.
I wonder what would cause a 4+ week delay for some though?
Perhaps I'm wearing (right now!) a returned jacket from another customer, that just happened to have the same specs as I ordered? I don't know, but two weeks for a custom jacket that fits just fine is ok by me!
It's been a few days, Cowboy, what's the final verdict?

Hold your horses..............................it might be a week. I hate posting pics..... too mundane. When I am really bored, I will do it. I am busted though........My dear wife discovered it in the closet. Can't fool her.

How nice is the Novapelle though, Cowboy?
Dontcha just love it? The colour of mine is quite dark; nothing like the colour on the Wested site, to be honest, but very much to my liking!
I'm very gladf I went with a 42R instead of a 40R. Would have been too tight around the chest when zipped up, I think.
Seriously though, just over two weeks for delivery here...I think you need to have a word with your customs people.
Parcel Force are ok here!

So far, the Nova is very nice indeed. I like it right now, but need to sit on it a while. I have commented way to fast in the past (Rhyme un-intended) and need to choose my word carefully this time around. Learning to take a queue from Michaelson.
I can say that what makes this jacket very great IMO is the sleeve length that is finally long enough. Of course that is due to my superb tape reading skills (I am a carpenter afterall) and the Wested boys following directions.

Fair enough; but I erred on the side of too long. Too long sleeves can be mended easily enough! But as KT suggested, too long may become just right after a week or so of wear.
My jacket is by no means a snug 80's fit, but I wanted something I can wear every day, without looking like a guy trying to be Indy. A regular jacket, in an Indy style. I told Peter this much over the phone, and he delivered!

Gotta agree with you there. The Novapelle looks and feels terrific out of the box (or bag, in this case) but I wonder if/how the "distressing" process will affect the longevity and/or durability of the leather.

If the seams will just hold......This could be a very good jacket. A little comment before I give the full Monty. As Louisiana Jones had said, the side pockets are stitched too tight so that you can not fit your hand in to them. I can not figure out why either. When I scrunch up my hand and put her inside, there is plent of room. THe door is just too narrow.

Hey, Cowboy, I'll be cruising through Spokane next month. I hope it isn't on your porch then or I may have to bruise my concience with a felonious act!
That looks fantastic!
