Take a look at Striders new cotton lining. I think it looks a little shiney, especially on the right top where it's not creased, but wrinkled more.

BTW, why hasn't this topic poped back to the top? Is there something that keeps very old topcs from doing so?

but seriously,,,(ahem) ..this lining thing, we know that Peter didn't put gussets in the jackets, either, but there is hard evidence they existed,,NOW WAIT!! Before you throw that scalding coffee at me! :shock:

WHAT IF- the people on the set needed to change the lining, possibly after a dive in the water or something, and installed a satin lining??

Peter, while we're on the lining subject, what was used in the sequel jackets?

And again, it would be great if you could type up (or relay to somebody in an official capacity) the definitive "history" of the Indy jacket, for display on the main IndyGear page. Every fan would love to read it.

I was watching the Well of Souls Sequence last night with the brightness and gamma turned all the way up. When Indy is bracing himself on the top of the jackel statue, his jacket opens and there is a great view of the lining. It looks like cotton to me.
