Does this happen a lot??

I'm really sorry to hear about this.

I guess I didn't realize that this style of hat was so popular? It's also so unique that if someone were to wear it that it would be easily spotted. My guess is that it was someone close enough to you to know how much that particular hat was worth and decided to steal it and sell it either out of revenge or profit.

I would try the market place in Marakesh because they've been known to sell unique items, like gold idols.....maybe your hat is there. :-k

Sorry I couldn resist that....:)

At least I haven't started driving Cadillacs, yet. Have you ever noticed when you are in a traffic jam, and you reach the front of the traffic jam, you always find a Cadillac? :-k Why is that? #-o

It's not enough that I have my hat nicked, you have to steal my thread too :( :?

No news, it's gone, already saving up for a new one, luckily I have my Akubras, unfortunately I sold my beaver AB - it was too big though.

:( Also, sorry to hear! I would buy a lock and lock it up. I would not give someone the chance to nab it.

It'll probaby come up, when you get your new one.

Good Luck my friend!

Have a great day!
