keeping a photo of rick5150's brim as a reference. I did not trim the brim, and I don't think I used steam, but I might have used a little bit. Even now I tweak the brim if I have to sit with the hat on my lap for a long time. I curl up the sides while holding the front of the brim down by pressing it against my chest. Then I turn the hat around and do something similar to the back of the brim.
