15 Sept 07. Still nothing, and no word from Steve since early November when he said he would probably be working on it that month.

Getting antsy...

I'm coming close to the 12 month mark. I ordered in March '08 and I gotta tell ya, the wait has gone by very fast. All I know is that this baby will be worth ever second of the wait.

I'm close to 16 months now, and next month we are moving. I need to contact Steve on that, it's quite difficult to organize something like a move-out if you have a hat on order. :? I hope everything goes well, I don't want some stranger to receive my AB.

That's what I did, I hope he notices it.

Try sendind e-mails from different addressed. Fedora's spam blocker is a little too good. ;-)

Well, I ordered in mid Feb of 08'. I emailed Steve recently to make sure he still had my order since I believe I read about a computer crash he had which may have lost some orders. No response, even though he was very responsive when I made the order. Maybe a spam blocker issue. I have a smaller head size (55) so I was hoping to maybe get it a little sooner instead of later, but I guess it may very well be several more months before I see something.

I'd say so. I ordered mine August 8th, 2007, and I've yet to hear anything. I think I'll drop him a line myself, hopefully to change my bash if it isnt too late.

Yeah, he was hoping for a nine month turn-around in the future which he mentioned to me in his reply email when I said I was prepared to wait for a year. He said orders were lighter lately, but some things happened since then, I'm sure it will be quite a few more months.

August of 2007? Oh my, hope yours' comes soon, what is that 16 months?! Seems like a lot of people in the last few posts are that long in the wait, gulp, note to self -patience is a virtue...

Computer crash!? That doesn't sound good at all! When did that happened? And do I have to do the same dad bigrex did? (Sending an e-mail to make sure he still had the order) :[

That doesn't sound good. Maybe we should put together a pre/post-Feb 2008 order verification list and compare notes on who has received their hats from that period. Mine was a late December 2007 order, and I like to believe that Steve just hasn't gotten around to that page of his order book yet. I refuse to bother the man with my petty order status anxiety when he clearly has his hands full in making his trademarked fur-felt masterpieces.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry. If Steve lost any information saved on his computer, it wouldn't really matter. He has the invoices of who ordered and when on his Paypal account. If you sent in a check, he has that information in his bank account. If he needs specifics like which film crease you wanted then he can call or e-mail you. It is not something to worry about.

I guess I'm in a long line behind others, but I ordered in April 2008. I've received no updates since then.

ATTENTION: Looking for a responsible individual to take the reigns of this thread. If someone would like to step forward, all they need to do is cut and paste the first post in the thread, and start a new one. The pages following are mostly updates from folks, that were put into the list.

I'm going on 21 months waiting for my replacement, and I have too much going on right now in the real world to worry if I am ever going to get my hat or not.
At this point I don't care either way. I don't have the time or energy to keep this train rolling.

So, if someone wants the helm, let me know.
