You are correct in all points. :D

I waited all weekend to take pics of my new jacket hoping the weather would improve, but alas this was as good as it got. I am really happy with this jacket.

Indiana Venkman,

The jacket looks great, is it a custom one or a stock size?

One more pic with a little too much fuller's earth on the jacket (no other "distressing" except the 70% alcohol treatment:

Bigrex,

Did the alcohol take off a LOT of color? Is the color removal visible on the jacket or just on the rag? Thanks.

Regards, Dr. J

Bigrex, I like what you did with the Fullers earth, gear always looks good when it's dusty.

As for my jacket it is a standard medium. I know the pics are terrible, the light just messes with the colour of everything making the jacket look too dark and me too pale. I'll definitely take pics in better light when I get a chance.

To the experts I ask, how does the jacket fit? Was the medium the right choice? Any other comments are welcome.

Nobody wants to say anything about my jacket? I know I'm not in gear but you have to start somewhere, right?

Bigrex, this is one of the most entertaining non-removed threads in recent memory because of all those pics you keep posting. Keep 'em coming. I'm not kidding.

Michaelson and Max thanks for the comments. :D I hope I didn't seem impatient, I was just really excited to hear what folks thought.

And a question for Todd if he happens to read this, first, THANK YOU!! this jacket rocks! I was wondering if you had any advice for getting rid of the crease in the sleeves from the packing? I know some people have soaked their Wested's and such, but can you do that with your standard jacket? Any input or advice would be great and appreciated.

Er I'm kind of confused, I suppose there is a limit of 4 photos per person per thread or per page of each thread from my analysis of the situation. I can post links no problems there. I'm not sure I have many more quasi-entertaining/semi-educational pics , er I mean links to post, but I can probably muster a couple for your "viewing enjoyment". St. Dumas, sounds like you've read some "interesting" deleted posts from what I can tell, controversial maybe? Anyway, I agree more links is the way to go, I was getting uneasy about dominating with too many pics loading up on one page since it tends to slow it down.

Great Jacket! I love mine as well.
BTW I am a Ghostbusters fan too.
GB was my first "real" SA costume.

PS walk around the house with the sleeves pushed up "Michael Jackson Beat it style" and the creases disappear in no time.

Just ignore the inevitable King of Pop comments you are going to get.

Venkman, you remind me of the "Yes I am" guy from those Miller Lite commercials of the late 90's! :D

Howdy Dr. J,

The color taken off is not visible on the jacket, only on the rag. I guess if I really scrubbed I could get a noticeable amount to come off with the 70% alcohol, but a quick rub down of all surfaces was not noticable on the jacket apart from the very slight dulling.

Indiana Venkman,

About getting the creases out, mine are almost out and it's been around three weeks. I didn't do much to get them out, but sleeping in it for about a week in total helped a lot.

i finally was able to try on a wested lamb this weekend at a 501st event in philly. My friend happened to have a wested on in lamb, and it fit me just right. So in comparrison to the Wested lamb, the Todds is MUCH thinner and lighter feeling, definitely feels more like windbreaker. I dont see how people thought the wested lamb feels like a windbreaker, cause the todds truely does. Super light feeling, great for Cons and the heat.

Couple more goofball photos (by request of St. Dumas). Now I'll check out of this thread as far as the pics are concerned. Long live Todd's jackets.
