They pretty much do at this point, but as described in the link above, it's probably best to err on the safe side since certain things are more sensitive than we first thought. Thanks, SA.

Perhaps I need to stay away from this site to keep my mind preoccupied :? Then again, it's sort of like a support group. Perhaps there should be an AB support group thread on here :P

Oh, you guys can talk about the AB itself all you want, just so long as it's not "related" to anything. Thanks for understanding, guys. Every AB I've ever ordered I've ordered and "forgotten" about. It does no good to go insane thinking about it (I know this three times over! ). But when your hat arrives, you'll know it's been worth the wait when you see the craftmanship first hand.

Ah, you put great visions in my head, Bink.
Knowing that I'll love and appreciate the skill and
craftmansip that's put into my own fedora.

Your probably right Bink. If you have had to wait for 3 of them, you know from personal experience. BTW, the german dude's hat in my profile pic is nice. Anyone know what kind it was? Maybe the wait for that one would be shorter  :P

Thanks Bink. I wonder if I could have an AB made like Toht's fedora. All I'd need then is a black suit, already have a party pin and glasses, and an SS trench coat. Oh, and I suppose I'd need the cool chain hanger he had :D

All good things must come to an end.
The visions are gone.
Now here's a good thought. Natalie Portman wearing
short UPS shorts while delivering the hat to me
at my house. :D

SA, ABs are only available in brown and grey/gray/grae/etc., so the short answer to that is "no." The Akubra comes in black, though, so that may be a good choice.

I inquired about a black Indy hat. I am fairly certain Steve told me he could do any color , he just had to order the hat body for it. It was sometime ago though.

 :D I'll wait till I get my regular AB, then if it's nice (which I'm sure I'll be tickled to death at how nice it'll be), and I can pull some extra change out of my couch cushions, then I'll ask him.

There are other hatters out there, Akubra, Camptown hats, some others. AB would have to be the top choice ! If you cant wait you might consider other options......

I'm waitin' on my third one. The trick is to just forget about it, and then when it shows up, it's a surprise. I guess it's easy to figure out why I would order another one.

Out of curiousity, is the COW member discount for ABs still going on? And would I fit that criteria? ;)
