...and the promised photos. I took these just a couple minutes ago so they are indoors and with flash. Your not getting the vivid Penman colors here, but we all know what it looks like.

Dave, great looking fedora!
When the sun comes up you ought to take some outdoor pics for us. From all the pics I've seen, John does a fine job on his Penman hats. I can hardly wait to get mine...and it's only been a week...
Did you bash it or did he?

I bashed it. I had asked John to send me the hat open crown so that I could turn it. I ended up changing it to a no-turn zone hat and re-creased myself.

I have had a couple of people give me their head measurements based off of hat sizing charts. This has caused a problem with those people getting hats that don't fit. Even when they sent me a measurement in inches it really was from a hat size chart and not really taken from their own head.
My hats are custom fitted and not mad to fit off the rack. My blocks are custom made for the sizes I wanted. They are not standard size. I'm trying to make everyone happy but I can't remake hats for people when they make a mistake like this.
If you normally wear a size 7 3/8 and know that I want sizes in inches don't go to a web site and to some size chart and look up 7 3/8 and get that in inches and give it to me. It wont work. I need a true measurement from your own head.
I hope this is clear. I'm sorry for the rant.
I have a open crown Raiders brown brand new with the head measurement of 22 3/4. If you would like to buy this hat contact me. No wait time at all.
thanks again
John

What am I, a guinea pig ;-) .
You'll probably continue to change the way you make your ribbon and bows until you are 100% happy with your work. Needless to say, I am!

I was just jokin' around. What type of hatter would you be if you didn't try to better your hats in all perspectives?
Dave
p.s. You'd be Dorfman, thats who you'd be!
