That was the exact same thought that I had.The new CS novapelle is the first jacket I've been totally happy with right out of the famous Wested-bag. It needs NO distressing to be SA.

Yup, I'm still in Jax. I graduated in '89. The first pic is between Tolbert (my dorm) and an unpaved parking lot where Keys was built after I was gone, and the second is a footbridge over a low drainage area between Jennings B and Beaty towers.PyramidBlaster wrote:Hey Treadwell---That's really funny. I was another HUGE Indyfan at UF from '89-'92. When I stayed on campus I was at Rawlings.....You still in Florida?they're two different locations at the University of Florida.
The movie jacket is an unnatural looking distress job. That's the whole point. Now let my old jacket rest in peace. And I'm not making him "wrong" for it. I just think it's an unnatural looking distress job.
Yes, indeed.whipwarrior wrote:The movie jacket is an unnatural looking distress job. That's the whole point.
Actually, I think it's more accurate to say that it was artificially distressed....to look NATURALLY distressed. While it's true that Harrison's jackets were brand new jackets that were deliberately distressed....they looked like a jacket that had been worn for decades.whipwarrior wrote:The movie jacket is an unnatural looking distress job. LOL -- there was no offense intended. If you're happy with it, that's all that matters! Now let my old jacket rest in peace.
