My dear friend,
if there's ANYTHING that you don't have to be afraid of, once you come over, it's the F.W.C. factor (Food, Whiskey and Cuban cigars)
And I'm talking the REAL Scottish Whiskey, not the Cola blend stuff you consider Whiskey
Oh, and beer.... you're talking 'bout the stuff I use to brush my teeth with, right?
I cannot remember current topics on eating Americans though...
Regards,
Marc

Only kidding Errico.

Uh, what's this? A talk about Scotch and a good pipe?! Ha! That sounds like a party I have to be part of.
You Hat-maker-Guys know how have a good time, don't you.
PS: Actually we
DO eat Americans over here. You can buy them in every bakery here in Berlin and they look like that:
They are called "Amerikaner" (Americans).

Just like Kennedy!
(Do Americans even get that one? Or do they not teach about Kennedy's great "I am a jelly donut!" speech down there?)

Let's just say it's not way up on our historical 'favorite speeches to remember' list. The Gettysburg Address it was not.....

The only thing I particularily remember of that road trip was Kennedy saying he was just the guy who was accompanying Jackie around Europe.

Accronym finder?

I tried the accronym finder site for the quote in Michaelson's signature, so see if I could figure it out before asking directly. All I got was:
no matches for D.B.S.S.W.D.D.
So Michaelson, do you mind sharing what that stands for? Also, how does the German quote translate into English?
Best Regards,
MarkVII

First, you have to translate the German into Latin. Then translate it into English.

I once asked what those abbreviations meant, but I got nothin'.

That's got to be the first negative response I've gotten since joining this group., Oh well, everyone has their secrets. Maybe I'll get lucky and find out if I ever get to a summit. See that someone else has a similar tag.
Good day, all,

I'm in school right now and exams are just over the horizon so it won't be for a bit. I just wanted to see if you're open to that idea. It's great that you are. An AB fedora is going to be my next purchase right after I get my Wested.

...kidding, that's actually a good thing to hear, a few folks complained about getting flamed on their first post.
'Nuff of that!
Those letters were bestowed, so we are not at liberty to say...everyone who has asked before you got similar answers, since there is no fun to just tellin'.
This does not mean we like you any less. (Okay, maybe it does in Strider's case....kidding, Tuck.

P.S. Bink - don't tell anyone I told you, but R.E.M. stands for raspberry_eating_monkey. 8-[
