Very nice looking, even uses the lighter (smaller) falls Joe uses. Very nice indeed! :)

Yes,

I can definitely attest to Jack's work,
having recently received one of his art crafted bullwhips, with an
aluminum handle and 12 plait thong, in 9 foot.

The handling is amazing,
for being a nine footer it feels like a six footer in weight, very fluid, extremely easy to crack, the plaiting is seamless, perfect actually, really fun to throw and target with.

I'm going to the WWAC convention starting
23-25, this weekend coming up actually, located at
Darke Co. Fairgrounds - SR 49 - Greenville, Ohio
during the Annie Oakley Days Festival,

If any of you are planning on going, be sure to give me a yell,
and feel free to try out any of the whips in my collection, along with
the one just mentioned,
:D .

Have a good one,

ATB

I was hoping to make it there, as I told Gery, (one of the coordinators for the thing,) I'd show up to help. But it turns out it's the same weekend of the engagement party for an old friend and business associate.

Folks you can call friends and business associates in the same breath are a rare thing, so I'll be going there, and missing the Annie Oakley festival.

Bugger...

Anyway. You guys have fun for me, and happy cracking with the new whip, Jim!

Dan,

I don't know how far away you are from xenia, but Gery is going to be having a whipcracking class the next weekend after the Annie Oakley festival. Also, I will be in town at Gery's place the week in between and at least most of the week after the class. So if you can't make the class either and you want to meet up, I'm Game! It's always great to put a face with a name, and just to meet up with fellow "Whip people".

I hope to meet you.
