Steele + Jones Cazodora '35 / TOD Jacket - Thin Cowhide

Post by marcdcat »

Hi All - Thought I posted this elsewhere but apparently not. Here are some pics of my Steele & Jones Cazadora '35 / Temple of Doom Jacket. It was purchased and received from Diego in 2023. It's in the thin cowhide with screen accurate distressing. Love the leather in looks and feel and it has become my current favorite.

Congrats! The jacket looks beautiful and I really like the color here! Does the thin cowhide give you a lambskin kind of drape with added durability?

Thanks. I really love the color and the finish too. The jacket really drapes nicely but the lambskin on my Cazadora '36 is a little more supple. Not far off though and it does feel more durable. I was going to originally get the lamb for this but I saw this review video and decided to give the cowskin a try. I agree with all of his points made. Definiteley don't regret it

Woah, that is a really nice jacket! The distressing looks awesome- I especially love the subtle distressing around the seam areas on the back (I'm sure there's a better terminology for that :-k oh well) I'm continually impressed by the pictures I see of jackets from Steele and Jones.
