Texasbullwhips.com- AAAAAAAAARGGGG!!!!!!

Post by D. Randall »

Has anyone else here had an experience with them? It took FOREVER to get my whip- they gave all sorts of excuses about late payment, which was complete texasbullsh*t because they cashed my check 4 days after I had put it in the post. And about 3/4 down the thong, the core/belly of the whip (which is probably nylon rope) DISAPPEARS. The plaiting wasn't that tight, and the fall was a mile wide. Is this normal or do they just hate people from Virginia? Oh well, live and learn I guess.....

It's too bad you didn't search the posts hereat COW before you ordered from them. No one seems to have had a good experience with Texas Bullwhips, and they seem to be compulsive liars. Well, you live, you learn.

Sorry guys, but you're gonna hate me for saying this, but I orderd my one and only whip from these guys a while ago and had no problem with the transaction.

I am still in the process of learning to crack it and still don't know anyting about bullwhips, so please don't throw anything at me.

I'd never throw anyhting at you, Canyon!

I had heard mention of Texas Bullwhips not being that great, but this is the first I remember reading as to the actual quality of their whips and service. That being said, Canyon, I'm glad your transaction went well for you!

I bought a 10ft Red Bullhide whip from their ebay auction and had a good experience. They even sent me multiple emails relating to payment and shipping. Perhaps the dark specter of ebay keeps them in line.
In terms of the whip, I was also pleased. It's a good, heavy-duty 8-plait--not too pretty, but good enough to get me back into practice. The fall is rather wide, but I could have simply trimmed it if it ever got in the way.

Yep. I ordered one almost 2 years ago. http://www.indygear.com/forum/viewtopic ... sbullwhips

I had problems too. There were some members who stood up to this guy and he pushed back pretty hard.
