Airsoft replica for S&W M1917

Post by bearbeast »

Anyone know of a full metal airsoft replica for Indy's S&W?

I know Tanaka makes and ABS one. I found a close enough HFC replica, the HG-131B, which I could modify slightly, but it is still metal with plastic body.

I really want a full metal one. Well, the handles can be plastic. :anxious:

Cheers,
Bear

To my knowledge those are the only options available. I don’t know of an all metal replica.

Pfff, thank you, Indiana Jeff!

I was really hoping my googling skills had failed me... ](*,)

Would have liked a full metal one, since firearms are not allowed in my country for private citizens. You can obtain a permit but the process is so complicated and the requirements so complicated it's too much hassle...

Pretty sure Todd’s Costumes worked with Tanaka to do one a year or two ago.

Yup, I know that one, but it's still ABS, only the finish is really good and makes it look like metal. :(

Oh, ok! And was it airsoft? I thought it was one of those cap guns, which I don't think I can import in my country... :-k

They aren’t airsoft to my knowledge.

Ah, all right. Thank you!

Airsoft is all I can own around here. ](*,) I'll see what I do, maybe I will get the HG-131B eventually. It has nice looking shells at least.

Cheers,
Bear
