Post by Drifter »

Hey everyone

Does anyone know of any method to restore the new leather smell?

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, I do not think it is possible. The smells come from the natural leather and the tanning process. Can't really recreate it. :-k

It’s like new car smell, once it’s gone it’s gone.

My lambskin smells different than my cowhide but the lamb is what I think of when I think of leather smell. Tom Ford makes a cologne called ombré leather i think.

You're right, Croft! But thinking about it, maybe that's the gear-head addiction. Not getting a new Indy jacket, but getting a new source for leather smell... :rolling:

Cheers,
