Indy-style cell phone holster...?
Hey, gang. Some years back, I remember one (or more) of the talented leatherworking craftsmen offering a cell phone holster cleverly based on the design of Indy's holster. Does anybody else remember that, or recall who was making those? Thanks!

Wade had some serious health issues and has long since retired.

When I couldn't find something I liked (at a price I liked!) in leather, I found this serviceable canvas one on Amazon for about $9 -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I5GSNI6?ps ... ct_details
Also comes in green and camo. Seems sturdy. Unlike most people these days, I rarely use or carry my cell phone. So it was tough to justify the cost of a custom leather holster, even if it looked cool.

My only worry with a belt attached leather cell phone holder that mimicked a holster is folks thinking it was a holster for a weapon which could lead to uncomfortable situations

Depends on where you live. Here in Tennessee folks in ‘open carry’ aren’t even given a second look!

Re: Indy-style cell phone holster...?
True! But the ones I saw years ago were cell-phone shaped (rectangular), not gun shaped. The cute feature was the flap that looked like the one on Indy's holster.backstagejack wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 10:43 am My only worry with a belt attached leather cell phone holder that mimicked a holster is folks thinking it was a holster for a weapon which could lead to uncomfortable situations

I mean living in Texas, same,....... that being said could still cause issues in certain situations. That's my only concern even if it's Cell phone shaped, being leather and with the flap it could still be misinterpreted and cause problems. People have been shot for less but that's JMO.Michaelson wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 10:45 am Depends on where you live. Here in Tennessee folks in ‘open carry’ aren’t even given a second look!

That sounds scary. What a world we live in... I prefer the hobbit way, favouring food, drink and a nice quiet life.backstagejack wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 10:09 pmI mean living in Texas, same,....... that being said could still cause issues in certain situations.
