Soldier of Fortune Indy Gloves
Has anyone ordered these? Seems like a nice budget alternative.

Re: Soldier of Fortune Indy Gloves
I've ordered product from SOF and it's been quality. I've never noticed that they had Indy stuff, maybe I missed it somehow....
I can't speak for their gloves but the other WWII gear I've received has been good. For me, the gloves are so generic that any close enough will really do, I reckon it just depends on if the price and shipping is right for you.

I ordered a pair of gloves along with SoF's Crystal Skull rucksack. I can't complain about either item.

I like that you can choose the manufacturer stamp from their MkVII inventory.

Re: Soldier of Fortune Indy Gloves
How do the gloves feel, thin leather or a more standard thickness.
My IM are nice, but the leather doesn’t feel as though they can take any abuse.
My last pair of Wells Lamont’s are vey much real leather work gloves.
But they do look great.

Re: Soldier of Fortune Indy Gloves
Croft, the SoF gloves are, I'd say, a standard thickness; like a basic pair of leather work gloves from any old hardware shop. I have no doubt they can take any abuse you throw at them. I bought these to wear when I'm in full gear, so I won't be abusing these too much.

I just finished treating my SoF gloves with brown tinted Pecards. I'm really looking forward to using these out in the field.

Re: Soldier of Fortune Indy Gloves
Those don't look to bad, I still need to try a pair of these.
How's the fit.
How ever I might try a different approach to get the final look to amore brownish tone, not so tan.
The is shot is of my collection.
Top right corner are Well Lamont, I believe the correct style (these will only be worn for pictures, as I worn the bagezzus out the first pair, you'll see it one of the shots).
This a BOSS style 4067M (med) grain leather, glove elastic back with no added palm strip, green band, these are what I call close enough for my every day glove and still have the Indy vibe.
I used brown leather dye, diluted with water.
Fresh out of the bath.
Dried out, threw the in a pillow case, then into dryer, then sit to dry
Next to my WL (can you tell which is which.
And a shot of before / after and WL
And a screen grab of the real deal, they are lighter than mine, but for close enough, they will do.
I might buy to of the FG gloves, one to leave natural and one to play in the dye bath.
Thanks for letting me plug my gloves.
