So this jacket is basically the striated lamb legend? Were they always this expensive, adjusted for inflation and COVID supply issues?

Nope. Definitely leather supply situation that started hitting them last Fall.
We were warned last Summer prices were due to go up on leather sourced to the U.S.

Michaelson, do you know if it’s the same as the Legend cut?

No. I wish it was! I was told the Legend pattern is retired, but it’s not the long Adventurer pattern either.

Well, shoot! Although it’s kind of a relief. I was having a hard time talking myself into spending that kind of $$.

I remember when Cooper came out, I had a mail order catalog back in the day. I never had a jacket by them but boy this looks like a really nice jacket, not in love with the price but if I had free funds I'd consider !
Re: USWings 40th anniversary Indy/Cooper jackets!
On March 3rd I emailed US Wings and asked them:
And the next day I received this response from Sarge:I was reading about the Cooper Indy jackets, and I read they have some additional insulation or fill inside the jacket that makes it warm.
I live in a warmer climate, and so I don't want any additional insulation. I am wondering if the other Indy jackets also have this insulation?
Could they have changed the product since the earlier discussion in this thread? Maybe they removed the lining due to feedback? Our Indy Jackets do not have the extra lining But in our repair department you could have it custom made and that is an extra $ 90.00 and may take 30 to 60 days.

I know occasionally a specific model has the insulation, but overall they come uninsulated.

Long fancied getting a kangaroo one because of kangaroo hide’s remarkable combination of drape and durability (even better than goat in that regard) but sadly their page for it explicitly says they make it 2.5” extra-long. Why?!
